I was very impressed with the sequencing of the speakers and the way the majority of presentations complimented each other. Very valuable opportunity for full frank discussion in a neutral environment.
Lt Col J L J Levine, Command & Control Development Centre
Very good. Very interesting & informative.
Jim Blackburn, European Defence Agency
Defence IQ's 3rd annual Infantry Weapons conference, taking place at the Maritim Nürnberg on the 27th-28th October 2008, is the major international conference providing insight into the future of small arms and support weapons, Lessons Learned from current operations and the latest discussions into calibres and NATO standardisation.
Current engagements are leading dismounted forces into close combat on a daily basis. Mission scenarios can be broad with target engagement ranges of fifty yards or 300 yards. Delivering an infantry weapon suite capable of meeting the needs of dismounted forces is a major challenge.
